YCS

Beh showed me something really disturbing on YouTube.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViX_0FPxDv4

It's a spoof done by current prefects of my elementary/junior high school on a (I suppose popular) HK pop song, where they changed the lyrics to disciplinary warnings.  Back in my days, I didn't think us prefects were such dorks.  The uniforms do look somewhat consistent.

I've decided that Andrew's my doppelgänger, except that we look nothing alike (I hope).  Otherwise, everything else about us seem eerily congruent.  Maybe we were twins in some past life.

Reconnecting

One of my New Year Resolutions this year was to attempt to reconnect with friends that I have fallen out of touch.  I've been slow starting this project, and the snail-pace has been compounded by the fact that most of the contacts I had from way-back-when are no longer valid.  It doesn't help that I'm also really lazy.  It's a wonder I ever get anything done.

So, if you're reading this, and you were once a friend or acquaintance of mine, don't hesitate to give me a shout!  And this time, I'll do my best to stay in touch.

Cheers,
W

I am convinced that there is a conspiracy in the NHL that the refs are calling more penalties on Canadian teams than American teams just so that there would be more American teams advancing.

They rescued the aid workers - finally.  It's a big relief.  Good job Canada.

It's 3-0 Habs and it's only 13 minutes into the game.  Leafs suck.

I had a tetanus shot the other day, and now the range of motion for my arm is reduced to about 30 degrees before it gets painful.  My typhoid fever shot isn't half as bad.  It's a little sore, but it's manageable.  I hope they won't have to amputate my arm.

So I survived my first "Year End"... and before I know it, it's study time again for Exam 4.  Sheesh.  It's pretty tough to study and work at the same time... by the time I get home I just feel like sitting in front of the TV and do nothing.

On the bright side, Frenchy and I are heading to China after my exam for our first trip together.  That's about 10 weeks away.  Hmm... I hope we survive that long.

I wonder if the Leafs are going to make the playoffs this year... things are not looking good right now.  I wonder how the die-hard Leafs fan are coping.  I'm a bit torn between whether I want the Leafs to make it or not.  On one hand, it makes for more pub time when the Leafs get into the playoffs, but on the other hand, I want the Sens to win the cup (not that they would have any problem even with the Leafs in the running... but it'd be more comforting without.)  Oh, as I type, New York Rangers scored against the Leafs.    *sigh*
